Oh I'm so glad Callie felt safe to go back to calling them moms. That was so sad. (And I'm so glad they didn't watch Orphan - what a terrible movie!) I look forward to reading more of your stories!

Ohhh myyyy goshhhh. How do you do this to me? So beautiful! I love that you explored Callie as a parentified child and Jude, looking to her as a parent. I love even more that Callie was able to tell Stef and Lena that she recognizes they are safe now and that she is his sister not his mother. I LOVED that she thanked Lena for "letting her be the kid again." So important. And Lena got to experience the best day of HER life, too 3 What an awesome story!

This is such a sweet story! I love Callie's fear at having accidentally said "Mom" and Stef's joy. It seems so true to life. This story makes me wish we had seen the first time Callie called Stef and Lena Moms. Oh gosh, there's more! Off to read.
