The one thing I really feel uncertain about this chapter is the dating you use to reference some of Earth's most notable events. For example, the First Agricultural Revolution was not "less than six thousand years ago" but nearly 12'000, possibly more in Halo time since they have advanced past the 21st century.

I really love how you have Chief mentioning the Flood by association as an undead enemy but not in name because it really hits home the point to making the Westerosi believe the Others exist. I just don't understand how that doesn't come up later in the story, since I thought somebody would've confronted chief on that by then.

I seriously hope you continue this story. Yes, bits of the outcome are already obvious given the firepower John has, but your character work easily makes up for it. You also have done an excellent job of finding a balance to the two stories, despite the obvious advantages the Halo cast has.

Saving that Night Watch guy was very nice, but also something I have not really seen before in other fics, failing to recognize that YES he was trying to warn them.

Simple yet clever work with Robert, in the solution to what to do with the plots against him being to keep him away from Kings Landing. Moreover, he recognizes his friend has a threat and acts to help. His interactions with Rayner are simply brilliant, and Robert would actually have done very well for himself Beyond the Wall. Two very charismatic and bold men bonding together

The threat to Cortana and the sliver of hope John feels definitely drives things, and LOL to her reaction from Tyrion's comment about them being married. And John spending enough time with civilians like this is being well done.

The use of recipes to win people over was a nice touch towards George Martin, and definitely very practical. To say nothing of the impact the printing press will have

Predictable yet still beautifully done as John demolishes the Kingsguard! Hope to see a certain queen's reaction to hearing the news! LOL John will have to set up a minefield to keep Ros out now though! :-P
