   Mysteryfan17 chapter 25 . 9h I was at work and for some odd reason, I flashed to this story but had them in Mirkwood and a certain Elf king decided to try and sway Bilbo away from the Dwarves by decking him out in an Elvish style... including his hair. The reaction was a lot of swears and threats before Bilbo suggested that, because he had done Bilbo's hair and thought it was no big deal, Gloin should be allowed to do Legolas' hair, to make it fair. My imagination (and my lunch break) ended on Legolas' face in reaction to hearing Gloin go "Well, sit here on the floor so we can get started." |

The lore is so deep and the relationships seem so natural and all of the characterss are so well written and have amazing interactions- Dang. I can’t wait to see more. |

Your plot is impeccable, your character portrayal is top quality and you have flung my emotions to left and right with making me cry in sorrow for bilbo to cackling like a witch at the dwarves escapades. | Penelope Valentine chapter 45 . 12/27/2018 This is awesome and amazing! Thank you for writing it! Glóin gets overlooked a lot, and it’s really nice to see him take centre stage. I love what you’ve done with his character, and his relationship with Bilbo is just lovely! It also totally makes sense that you de-aged Bilbo - I don’t see 50 year old Bilbo, who is a bit more established in his adultiness, putting up with any of this! Óin is also fabulous, and his relationship with Glóin is hilarious! All in all, this is just a fantastic piece of fiction. I’m a sucker for found family, and I haven’t seen it in this form within the Hobbit fandom before - usually it’s Bilbo and all the Dwarves, or the Durins, or the Fundins, I’ve never seen it with Bilbo and Glóin and Óin specifically before. It’s super original and totally awesome. I love this, and it’s totally cheered me up while I’ve been in my sick bed. Thank you again for writing it and sharing it with us! |
