Absolutely adorable!

I love Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship so much. I'm super into the "guy adopts/takes care of girl-child" plotline, because it makes me all warm and fuzzy. Reminds me of my own dad. :D

And I know that the convo in the reviews took place a long time ago, but can I just add my piece to it? kittycatjazz, you may not have said that you find father/daughter relationship disgusting, but coming onto someone's story and saying that a guy and a girl that he knew and took care of since she was a little girl would make a cute couple is going to squick some people. There are problems witht that kind of thing and some people can't just dismiss them like you do. To people who like to ship Sesshomaru and Rin: try to be considerate and not give out those kinds of opinions to people who enjoy the father/daughter interpretation. There's too much potential to squick or trigger someone that way. At least post a trigger warning before your comment if you have to write it.

This is one of my favorite Sess/Rin father-daughter Inuyasha stories. I loved how you showed an older Rin, and how her feelings for Sesshomaru never changed even after she became a teenager. I seriously enjoy your stories. Keep up the good work!

Of course, but when did I ever say they were disgusting as father/daughter? Besides, I get the feeling that whether my opinion was put in the beginning or the end you'd still have a problem with it. Lashing out on your belief in what these characters have together is wrong, I merely disagreed...nothing wrong with that considering I could have put something far worse.

By the way I am an author of a few Sess/Rin stories and have had a few reviews begin with the viewer stating they don't completely agree with my romantic couple, but so long as the review itself isn't bashing my choice pairing I see no reason to argue back; it only means my story even captured the attention from someone on the opposite side of the fence. I am a shipper of SessRin and yet I still like your story, don't think so negatively of that.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the story, but I still strongly recommend that you don't go to a father-daughter story and say, or at the least, start out with a comment saying you think the romantic "version" of the pairing is "cute". If I came onto a Sesshomaru/Rin romantic story and said I think it's disgusting that they're a couple. but it was nice writing, the author would be insulted and argue with me.

They are cute romantically but unlike other strict sess/rin fans I won't go dissing any views you have on them, I merely stated an opinion. I also think they're cute as father and daughter I just prefer seeing then as a couple no big deal. I commented on your story because I know it's best to find understanding on both sides of the fence when it comes to this pair, and it really was well written; better than other sess/rin stories I've read. So in the future a simple "that's cool but I still see them as father/daughter thanks for the comment" will do nicely.
