And I have finally finished this arc! Woo, that definitely took me a bit longer than the previous ones, but I admit that I took a break from reading this. It's quite a long story, after all. Don't worry, I'll continue reading and at some point I'll probably catch up, I just don't know how long that's going to take...
Let's see, about this arc... The plot is still continuing and I'm glad we saw a bit more of the Team Rocket trio, it's definitely been a while since we've seen them. Lance and the other people with power now know about the quest, and hopefully they'll not get in the way but rather help them, but so far things seem to go well.
I have a small tip about the romance. A fic full of lemons is one end of the spectrum, but I think that this story is a bit tame in the romance aspect. Not that I necessarily want to read about make-out sessions and it's probably unnecessary to put (a lot of) them in, but when you write them it does not seem to fit the characters' ages and time spent together. In this arc, even in this chapter, Ash and Misty kiss with tongue for the first time. While they're both nineteen and in a relationship for quite a while already (they've been journeying for more than 100 days and they've been together since almost the beginning, so... almost three months I'd say), so that seems odd to me. And it wouldn't be such of a problem if it was only one couple, it'd even be logical, everyone is different and all, but all couples are really shy with kissing. Did none of them have a partner before? Never a date? Never some kisses at a party? I guess what I'm trying to say is that the characters seem to act too young in their romance scenes, especially when considering they've been in a relationship for a while.
Okay, that was my tip, now back to the good stuff. I liked that you're fleshing out characters more, and I especially like what you did with Ritchie and Kraken. And the light humor, like Paul being X-rayed on the airport and small stuff like that. And of course the general plot which is still very exciting!

Whoa this Arc is almost over! I'm zooming through these things. It's been about 400 thousand words now, huh? Dang. Anyway, you keep forgetting to keep the age changes :P Gary and Burgundy both aged a few chapters ago but since then you've had them back at their old ages

So. Much. Fluff! Loved it! I think Ash participating in the contest is far too risky, though. Realistically, it doesn't seem like something the group would agree to at this point. But whatever floats your boat! I'm sure it'll be fun. I'm super excited about Dawn and Paul participating together! Also looking forward to seeing Harley and Solidad. I hope they become a couple soon. Or at least turn up the fluff! You've somehow made them absolutely adorable together. I didn't think it was possible XD

Okay I change my mind about Lance. You've made him a good guy. That's nice. I'm used to him being a pain. I like this turn of events way more, though.

Meh Paul and Reggie didn't even talk :( what a waste of wonderful material... That's really the only thing I can fault you for with this story, though. And only then because I'm so invested in Paul's character development. I hope Reggie comes back into the story later so we can see more interaction.
So the G-men found some stuff out, hmm? It bugs me that a legendary can't just come and tell them to F off about keeping the "kids" out of it if they find out. Geez. Like, this would be so much easier if the officials would handle the little guys (aka the grunts and whoever else from the teams they can get their hands on) and let Ash & co. handle the hearts and legendaries. Protect them and not accidentally kill off the whole world? Sounds like a good deal to me. Wish a legendary would just whip Lance's butt into shape over the whole deal. Meh. I know it wouldn't just be Lance, but... well, I can't help but think that Steven and Cynthia would let them continue their role. Wallace was already cool about it, but might not be able to be anymore. So for now I blame Lance lol XD

Well that was intense. This story is way too heavy. Not really bc it's way too good to not read, but like... uggh so much shit's going down, it's crazy! I feel like giving them the time to "rest" in between and heal their wounds actually makes it more intense somehow. No idea why. Anyway, darn, everything was just sorta blurted out... I wanted Paul to have to explain it all. That woulda been intense. I'm hoping he and Reggie still have a lot to talk about, though.
Oh, and I noticed Trip had a birthday a few chapters ago. Kept forgetting to mention it. But finally! Glad people are aging lol

Ooooh Celestic town is next? Will they meet Cynthia? I hope so!

Whoa that was a heavy chapter... Damn. I don't even know what to say.

Dang so people died in this chapter, that's sad. I'm surprised the characters weren't more down because of the tragedy. Especially the miners who survived.
Anyway, peoplefinally aged! Ash, Misty, Drew, Solidad, and Kenny. Cool! Guess Sol is older than Harley. Interesting.

Whoa looking into everyone's fears was awesome. You've really gone into the crux of what makes your characters tick. Amazing! I assume that vision from Cressila was of Ash and his own children with Misty? Cute :)

I realized this story was written two years ago, but I really appreciate that fact that you've added a day count. It's very helpful.
