Nononono! There is absolutely NO problem with Lucy being OOC in this pairing. Actually it works quite well. Despite the original series displaying Lucy as a bright, social girl, I can also see this side of her. It brings a lot of questions to the reader such as "what made Lucy so quiet in the first place?" and I would like to think in this case the same excuse applies: "Lucy did not want to be Lucky Lucy, or the shining daughter of the Heartfilias, anymore." But instead of running away from her duties as an heiress and becoming part of the rambunctious Team Natsu, she kept quiet so she would be almost unnoticeable. Though despite her change in character, it's not like she was depressed or completely glum. She was just...indifferent? I guess it went along the lines of she really didn't care too much what happened in the guild she was in as long as it was different from her chaotic childhood. Moving onto Mystogan, to be honest I kind of felt cheated on his reserved personality. Sure he had people problems (and didn't really know how to object against the Master for joining) and didn't know how to deal with the opposite sex but HOW? I think it would have been better to expand on that :) Other than that this was really well written! I liked the little parts where Lucy transitioned from "she would have said this" to actually voicing her thoughts. It showed the progression of her character quite well. And the way the two silently communicated with their small gestures and eye contact was extremely adorable as well. I hope to see more of this pairing soon!

I really like your story, Lucy may be OoC but it's a really amazing story. I also like Jellal&Lucy along with Mystogan&Lucy, I just can't help but grin while reading this story. I also believe that this pairing needs more stories, so thanks for your excellent story.
