Ha, I liked how you took this subject (that I admit still nags at me sometimes) and made it into a future fic. I could see Sadie ask her parents about it. That last part was so sweet - "not the mushy stuff again!" I bet there were lots of that in their household! Great fic :)

This is so sweet and perfect. I love the idea of teenage Sadie questioning the fact that she was conceived before the wedding. I also love that Jules didn't try to hide anything. What I love most is her explanation that marriage should be about the person you can't live without. And it's more than obvious that it's true for Sam and Jules.

Hasn't Sadie learned by now that with parents, it's more about do as I say not as I did? Of course Jules doesn't want her having sex ANY time soon. I'm quite sure Sam doesn't even want to think about his baby girl dating anyone (let alone anything more serious) until she's thirty or older.

How perfect (and completely right) that Sam and Jules are still completely and madly in love with each other even after 20 years of being together. Thanks for sharing this. What a great surprise to start off my weekend. Can't wait to read more from you.
