Oh, this was just lovely. I've read far too few fics in which Grant wasn't swept up by Garrett and Hydra and there need to be more. Just. Like. This. I would happily spend all day reading a fic with Skye and Grant trading stories. Both of them have led such interesting lives that they should collaborate on a book! I love how easily they connect with each other too. And, once again, you write comedy like nobody's business. I know I keep putting that comment in all of my reviews but it is a skill so many writers don't possess. The image of May, covered in foam, putting Coulson in a headlock is just too much! Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

I don't know how I managed to miss this story when you first posted it. I'm so glad I found it now! It is so poignant and sweet - and beautifully written. I love the interaction between Skye and Ward - it is so real and honest and the dialogue is spot on. Love how you wrote May and Coulson too - hilarious! I think one of my favourite lines is when Ward said he was in no rush to disentangle Coulson from May's headlock - brilliant and oh so funny. Thank you for this lovely story! :)

This is a very beautiful story! Skye and Grant are my favorite couple from the show. A cafe in France is a lovely place for them to spend time together. Nice they have this time alone together. I love the quirky funny stories they tell to get to know each other better. Very sweet. It would be wonderful if you write more for this, them spending more time together just like this growing closer.

So sweet. Love the setting; to get away to a cosy eatery where they can just be together & grow closer through the stories they share. I imagine them taking a stroll hand in hand around town after this, just enjoying the moment. The beginning of a beautiful couple :) Thank you for this Skyeward fluff. We need as much as possible. YES! This was a perfect use of my favorite "Tay-Tay" song! Love it! I really like the way Miles ishovering at the back of Skye's mind because I think that they definitely had a negative relationship. I love seeing Ward pointing out to Skye that she is so self-deprecating and that he does think she's had an interesting and amazing life. Great work!

Okay, so I love Begin Again so much, it is a beautiful song, and seeing it live really is something special. So, I was quite nervous to read this, worried you would take it way out of context, but at the same time I wanted to see if you could do it justice.

You did it justice. To start with, I love how it was set in France like the music video and the backdrop on tour. I love how you so subtly and perfectly integrated the lyrics into the story, into the dialogue and Skye's thoughts. I just loved it all, and it has put me in a ridiculously happy mood. Great, greay job!
