I think what I appreciate most about this chapter is your ability to cause the reader to fall in love alongside Akashi. To be able to empathize with his feelings. A wonderful read so far, I'm glad I was able to come across this story. Thank you!

Ah okay, this chapter, like the last, was a roller coaster of emotions. My favorite part was the conversation between the father and the son. I was expecting this to happen sooner or later, but the way you wrote it was not only believable, but also full of emotions in a very controlled manner. Like you were edging at Akashi losing it but reigning it at the same time. The conversation was interesting and natural. Akashi's mind was hard to read here because I really felt his pain and desperation. Overall, I think this is one of the best scenes besides the breakdown last chapter and the bonfire chapter. Ah, and lastly, this cliffhanger. I had really hoped to see Kuroko.

I've, unfortunately, reached the latest update and I must be honest. I feel sad and worried since the last update was 3 years ago? But, I do understand. And I also do trust that you will continue this story. Whatever happens though, please know that we always support you. Kagami falling and Kuroko laughing were a bit unnerving. Certainly fitting but I really felt the chills. Coupled with Akashi's breakdown when he looked at Kuroko. Leaves me to think, though. What had Kuroko's laugh mean? I imagined it to be a bit sinister or mad. It would be out of the usual character, either a break in his personality OR a play of Akashi's very unstable mind. I hope we do get to see them talk or something.

Ah, and of course, the breakdown. Interesting how we still see boku Akashi here right? His winners mentality all crumbling down back at him. It's no wonder I enjoy most Akashi fanfics especially when his mental state is handled well, like here. Kozue calling him by his first name is probably the light shining the gloomy and tumultuous tone of this chapter. I love it. Thanks so much for this chapter!

What's going to happen to this boku Akashi when ore Akashi comes back? The depiction of DID isn't accurate in KnB and that's understandable considering that it is a manga focused on basketball rather than problematic complex stuff such as Akashi's mental instability and apparent disorder. I'm excited to see how you'll address this in this fic. I can indeed feel the climax of the story coming, and I can't help but feel anxious and excited at the same time. Thanks again!

I really love the vivid imagery of each settings you write in your chapters. I can see the place clearly and they never fail to give off the Kyoto (and Tokyo) vibes as if I'm seeing them too in my head. Even without looking at pictures from the internet. They really add appeal to each chapter and in setting the mood.

On to the chapter, my favourite part was probably when Kozue got masks for the two of them. It just shows how much she understands Akashi without him saying it and even as he controls his expressions and words. The haiku part and the cheesy (for Akashi maybe hehe) was also great.
