When I first read the summary stating merman fic, I was very surprised to read that Nico was the merman and Percy the human. You pulled it off fantastically though

that was a super cute story that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and is now in my favorites. good job.

as much as i adore merman!percy, i like how you flipped it around to nico instead. it was also cool to see hints of percy's past with the story his mom told him, her glances at the palace and thoughts that hinted at poseidon being his father, poseidon's own small role in his act of kindness by paying for the food percy stole and giving him a place to stay in the palace (kinda making me suspicious on whether he knew about percy's parentage or not). i also like that you added blackjack to the story and had him come along with percy and leo under the sea. it's too bad that tyson didn't have any part in the story though. he's such a sweetheart! XD

Oh my goodness! This was such a great fic! I ABSOLUTLY love the twist. Everyone always has Percy as a merman, but I really like that Nico is one instead. Percy's background makes more sense for him to be a stable boy. In the cannon story, he's isn't middle class or upper class so it wouldn't make sense for him to be royalty. I love how he's a stable boy, and works with horses. :3. It would make a lot more sense for Nico to be royalty, because Jades is the god of death and wealth. Also I love how Nico is the confident one and Percy's admiring, awkward one that's been crushing for a while.

This actually wasn't that bad. I wasn't sure what to expect from it, but I liked it. You did a good job. So the moral I learned from the story, is swoon around princes and feed their ego. Triton was way too easy to fool. Man, this makes me wish I was more kind-hearted.
