This was a haunting story. He is so willing to throw his loyalty behind her. Does the end mean he sided against the Capitol? It's hard to imagine him siding against her.

I don't know if I've ever reviewed this before, but this story is amazing. I think I first read it on tumblr and initially I wasn't going to read it because reading the original books made me sad as it was I didn't want to see Emma and Killian in the same positions, but thankfully I decided to give it a go because I'm a sucker for AUs and this was absolutely brilliant. The emotions that you were able to convey was so riveting that I was completely enthralled while reading because it was completely different from what I had expected. Your writing style is great and you did a fantastic job of creating the characters and the transition in Killian in such a short space of time. And I loved the bit about Henry being the one to spark the rebellion because it reminds me a bit of Rue. This was so well-written that I so wish for a full-length version of the story or at least a companion piece to it. I really hope you're inspired enough because you're a great writer. Loved LOVED this story.

I absolutely adore this! It's a darker twist to what we were exposed to in THG, and I love that Henry's the one that actually sparks the rebellion. The fact that Killian became enraptured with Emma and was basically influenced by her to join their side really makes me want to read a sequel. It's probably unlikely...? But I do want you to know that I love this so much and is definitely sequel worthy. Great job!

I really love this; how you've captured the essence of their world and how Killian and Emma would fit into it. I liked reading that Henry has not killed anyone, even more so when you said that Emma stood at his side, because I could just SEE it. The ending, and Killian's fibal thoughts and realization is perfect. Wonderful job. :)
