Reviews for Living Afar
Guest chapter 1 . 6/6/2017
First: Es sieht nicht so aus als wäre er verletzt.
And second: I think the story is pretty good.

This is kinda gutsy. Good balance of ocs and emotion. And you changed a lot of the foundations of astro boy while still keeping it interesting and in that world. Love it and please write more.

Well, this was simply brilliant. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your sequel to this. My favorite OC was Tiki-Man. Keep it up and Happy Story Weaving!

Tasermon's Partner chapter 1 . 4/24/2014
Wow, this was certainly a very detailed and interesting story.

I've read a few other fics where Toby does survive and ends up meeting Astro, but this is an original concept in that he ends up being transported to such a far away place (and Germany, no less. What an original idea! Was there any specific reasoning for this though?) Also original is that there are multiple floating cities, instead of just Metro. It makes sense, obviously, but the movie didn't really hint at it, so most people presume that there's just the one.

I also like that when he does meet Astro, it's not really the main point of the story, but rather, his journey back to Metro City is. I like how he comes to realize the plight of the surface dwellers, and wants to helps them, and uses his own creativity and intelligence to make his own way. After he and Astro get settles, I think that they'll find that they have alot in common (besides the obvious), and want to use their own, but different, skills to work together for a common goal of helping others.

But boy, won't Tenma and the others be in for a shock!

Your original characters are unique and very creative, and I like their personalities.

Your story is very descriptive overall, and, for the most part, it has excellent grammar and structure, which is always a great plus!
