This is interesting! Can't wait to get more slices of what the Doctor went through (I haven't read the prequel). Hoping Jack can connect with him so he can pull through, though Jack seems to be part of his pained experience which might make it difficult...!

I'll just note that the British references are a little off, i.e they don't have Euros in Wales and Jack wouldn't say, "it's my quid", he'd say "it's my money" because quid is slang for £1 and doesn't work in that context. But that's all just fuddyduddy (that's not a word...! You know what I mean...)... Please continue! :D
