So how old is your Severus? Because canon-wise, him and Lily didn't meet until they were nine. In some ways, Severus comes off as being far too trusting and is describes as if he's several years younger than he is. He's been abused for...oh pretty much his entire life - by a man, no less - and now he's going to trust a new one just because he's the father of his best friend? Um no? Sorry but I feel like he should be just a little more cynical and doubtful of Mr. Evans intentions.

I also think it would have made more sense for Robert to try and contact Mr./Mrs. Snape before he took him to the hospital. It's the logical thing to do considering that a) he's not his son, and b) that's the usual protocol with parents when something bad happens - to call your child's friend's parents to let them know what went down because they know more about their kid than you do (i.e. medical history, allergies, ect.)

Seeing as you haven't updated this in several months, I don't expect you to do all that much. But if you do plan to continue on with this, I really do think you should give some of this a bit of thought.

Because even if Severus says his parents hate him, I do think they'll look for him.
