I like to think all these hijinks happened to MSF altrrnate canon where they discovered Isle de Monstruo and have GEAR rex invade MB and Purrto rico. The world history change after that, with everyone obsessed with catching and breeding Monsters from that isle ala Pokemon. Coldwar ended and Cipher turned into Monster League, with Elite 4 and all. And Ground Zero never happened...
