Wow, how have I not come across this story before? But never mind that, I'm so glad I stumbled across this gem, it was exactly the kind of Emergency, Gage-centric fic I was looking for. I really enjoyed the interactions between John and Roy, and at many times, I could hear their words as if spoken by the actors themselves.

I've read this story many times over the past several years. It's always a good read, even though I know the outcome. It's hard to believe it was your first fanfic!
