This is so terribly sad, yet so terribly beautiful! I hope Mary does something similar to this in the future. Bash and Mary deserved a better chance, for from the very beginning, he loved her for who she was, not for what she can offer to his country. He loved her even before Francis did. Ugh! I'm so torn up about thi show right now and about Bash and the horrible, horrible things he's had to endure. But writing was cathartic. And well done. And it makes me ache for Bash all over again. Thank you for sharing it.

I think that Bash is such a great character and right now I feel so bad for him. You did a great job and I can see it happening. I hope you do more.
