Riftrafte chapter 18 . 3/28
Wow, what another amazing story of yours. I loved the structure of the chapters, having a past memory that then played a part in the resolving second half. I was completely captivated reading this. I really hope you write more for it soon as I can see you had a really exciting direction for it and I'd love to read how you wanted to conclude it. I've been smashing out your stories and they give me such joy!

Hope there is more...really enjoying this perspective, I usually root for J/C but Seven and Chakotay are good here in this story...

tmtcltb chapter 18 . 12/21/2017
Kathryn is taking a risk, but she is correct that neither Voyager or the Borg Resistance have much of a choice. Voyager has no easy way home and Unamatrix has no home. Very curious to see how this works out!
tmtcltb chapter 15 . 12/20/2017
Emotional scene! The choice for the freed drones is so simple, yet so hard at the same time. Really looking forward to how you handle it.
tmtcltb chapter 14 . 12/19/2017
You drew the parallels between B'Elanna and Seven and Miral and Anni so nicely. Great writing.
tmtcltb chapter 10 . 12/18/2017
I really enjoyed the flashback to Erin. As sad as the Borg baby's short life was, that experience clearly shaped Seven's view of our own daughter. Another great chapter.
tmtcltb chapter 9 . 12/18/2017
Poor Seven! To have all of that information to process and then realize how close both she and the baby came to dying. So tragic that a moment which should have been filled with joy was anything but.
tmtcltb chapter 6 . 12/18/2017
You definitely tugged on my heartstrings here. Beautifully written chapter. The fact that Seven's daughter had the very beginning of borg implants seems very apt. I love the choice of name.
tmtcltb chapter 5 . 12/17/2017
Despite kind of hating Axum, I really feel for him. He obviously does feel very strongly about Seven and the situation they were both placed in had no good options. It is definitely a testament to your writing that you were able to draw out so msny emotions. Having Icheb thete was a nice touch.
tmtcltb chapter 4 . 12/17/2017
You've managed to create a situation where pretty much everything bad that could happen, is happening, short of death. Putting Chakotay in this situation is definitely testing the "for worse" part of his marriage vows, and I think you're doing an excellent job of writing him as a man who has been pushed to his limit.
tmtcltb chapter 3 . 12/17/2017
I've just started reading this story and I'm already hugged. What a heartbreaking choice for Chakotay. Beautiful writing.

I cant say that I have that much to say about this chapter, while it was nice to see Chakotay with little Anni and his dad moment with her was very sweet. and I appreciate how you addressed his fatigue. and while I'm unsure if men can get this, some mothers often have trouble relating to or caring for their child, I think its called postnatal depression. its clear that he is depressed that this how experience has very much hallowed him out but he still very much loving and careing hes just so tired and needs a breck but refuses to be part from his family.

thou I'm surprised that no one thought to mention that going back to earth right now wouldn't be the best thing for seven, Chakotay or little anni as they need to recover before dealing with star fleet BS. and lets face it star fleet can be some mager douche bags when they wont to be.

but I have to say that I kinda get where Janeway was coming from, this is a the best chance they've had to get back home in a long time but like all her plans its grapping on to a what is in fact a slippy slop rather than a sure thing, just as she did when seven first came on board.

other wise a perfectly satafing chapter, thou I imagine this story will be wrapping up soon as one can only milk, character is sick and getting better for so long and maintain its enjoyably. as detailing rehab and the slow clime back to health would I imagine get rather old. not that I think this has reach this point. there still plenty of milk in this beasty its just not overproducing any more.

but I would like to see some interaction between Icheb and his little sister, after all he hasn't really had a smaller siblings to take care of or look out for since the other three borglings left. also I would love if seven and Chakotay just adopted him already. (if they haven't already)

Yours Alaster Boneman
