| The Quotable Patella chapter 6 . 10/2/2017 You misunderstand contests. Contests are not about raw power, I agree with that part, but contests are not about beautiful attacks either. This isn't a damn performance. Contests are about using moves in a creative/innovative way which showcases the ability and adaptability of a pokemon and trainer. In layman terms contest is about showing how awesome your pokemin is. Just see how Tucker or Fantina battles, that is how a real coordinator should be. Contests and league battles are closely related and really good trainer can also be fairly good coordinator and vice versa. This is proven several times by Ash, Nando, Tucker, Fantina, Juan, Wallace etc., |
