| chrisrose chapter 1 . 3/10/2014 Glad you're still writing Mash fics. :) This is probably the best possible follow-up to that last horrific episode. Thanks for trying to make us all feel better! Although I'd rather ignore 1x13 canon entirely...can't really forgive ShowMary (and the show's writers) ...not for Frary marrying, which I expected, but the way it happened (I much prefer *your* "Consummation" story!) But I'll try to imagine YourMary didn't give Bash up so easily, and fought harder to protect him. (It helps that you've written her vowing to protect him, and tricking Francis in order to rescue Bash from the dungeon. That reminds me of how much I love your Badass!Protective!Mary rescuing Bash in "No Sound But The Wind." Aah, what a great fic!) Yeah, I've got to be selective now in my head-canon... otherwise I can't really ship Mash anymore...just want Bash to get far away from everyone who caused him pain, including Mary! Anyway, hope you keep writing and keep healing traumatized Mash fans... you know I love your style. :) |
