This was pretty deep. So, in the end the bad guy only killed the three police officers or did he kill three other kids as well as the police officers? That confused me a bit. Good job, though. I think I might see what else you've written.

Look at this... I'm slowly dying a very painful death because I'm being overwhelmed by the suspense in this wait for the next chapter.
I love how Arthur is calling Valiant "Val". It's just kinda funny to me. Arthur's just like "Yeah, you're shooting up the school and you're about to try and kill or seriously harm my boyfriend, but what do you think of me calling you Val?" Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing, so to speak, I just find it kinda cute.
But, besides that, I love this story. You're English is very strong for not being a native speaker, although there are a couple small errors here and there. You have the grammar structure down perfectly and you mess up less words than a lot of the other people here. I'm glad that your putting effort into writing a story in a language you're not overly confident in and still making it out better than some native speakers.
That said, update soon, PLEASE! I can't wait for your next update.
