Great story!

I found this to be quite a compelling read; a perfect setting for where this fanfic takes place in the series, and I'd like to see a second chapter resolving the events and the cliff-hanger in the last lines.

Wonderful. Visceral and tender and full of delicious, fulfilled need. This sums up beautifully all the two of them COULD be. *sigh*

I really like Shenny fan fics. This one was really good. I would have liked it to be a little longer. Like will Sheldon eventually tell Penny he loves her? What about Lenard? Will Penny brake up with him over the phone, or will she wait and tell him its over when he gets back?

Oh my... just, wow. This was absolutely beautiful, so in character and sizzling hot at the same time. Bravo!

It was easy to let the half-truth slip from her lips when he was right there, standing in front of her and giving her that look that always seemed to beg for more. But when he wasn't there…she started to realize just how much those words of love had been used to appease and silence.
"I don't love him, Sheldon," she whispered.

We're all thinking it! And she said it! Man, reading that small section was pure heaven, the kinda relief you feel when you can't think of the word you're trying to say and someone supplies it for you. Beautiful one-shot. From the way you described Penny's horrible mood to the rain and the lightening that acted as a supporting cast to this love story, I was hooked from beginning to end. Great imagery and use of the rain to represent a new beginning for the Shenny. Bravo!
