| greyskyparadise chapter 12 . 4/8/2018 I really like this story, but I am quite frustrated with Danny. I feel like some fics make him completely impotent/basically furniture with no opinion or role, and then some stories insert him into every scene he can possibly be in. Maybe it's because I'm an adult, but if someone tried to undermine everything I'd done to save my family (especially when it seems like he didn't really do anything outside of plodding along with his dead end job, which seriously? He should have tried to find better paying work if he was really so concerned about losing the house!) I would lose my shit! In summary, I feel like Taylor has obviously made some less than ideal choices, but I feel like she has been acting as the head of the family and now Danny has decided he wants the role and is bulldozing her. Despite how rants this review ended up, I really like the world building of this story. |

| Oww chapter 5 . 9/6/2017 Written well but honestly? I can't enjoy this story. You've spent too long on the locker without much resolution. It is quite honestly infuriating to see such a description of suffering without anything to show for it. Especially since it really isn't that unique in comparison to so many other fics that feel the need to rehash the locker. Great idea, great technical writing, incredibly disappointing plot. |
