I loved your explanation for Amanda leaving and the reason behind Lee writing his letter and everything that came after.

Poor Lee! He got blindsided by Amanda discovering the scathing memo, from their earliest association, which he never actually sent. Thankfully, she left it on the desk so he swiftly understood what happened. When the dust settled, they knew more about each other and their relationship was even stronger. A pity you wrote only two S&MK stories because you have a keen insight into Lee and Amanda. Talented, well-written storyteller, too.

This is a lovely story. Totally believable and true to character.

It was truly a pleasure to discover your story tonight. It is well written and has beautiful descriptions of both Lee and Amanda's thoughts and actions as they work through Amanda's hurt and Lee's guilt. My favorite line was "How had the promise of her warm smile, the sight of her beautiful brown eyes shining up at him, become the most important part of every day? I absolutely love this story. I loved how everyone in the bullpen glared at Lee. I felt sorry for Lee when he realized what he had done. I loved how he had to work to get Amanda to listen to him. Then when he told her that he meant what he had written, my heart went out to Amanda. I laughed at three different partners and Fred Fielder's threats to quit the agency if he had to work with Lee. The second letter was wonderful. I loved the ending. This is a beautifully written story. Well done.

Great story. A definite favorite. I love how you captured Lee's exasperation with Amanda at first - the way you incorporated this scenario into the plot worked perfectly. I liked, too, that even Francine was angry at Lee and how everyone assumed that Lee was to blame. I always knew Amanda would have had an outstanding GPA! Got a chuckle at Lee's less stellar one:) The ending was cute too. I didn't sign in because I don't happen to have my password handy but it was such a good story that I just had to leave you some feedback. Thanks for making me smile.
