Doug is a wimpy cop! Many officers are much better than him! I wonder if that D.A. is corrupt, too, like Jake apparently thinks. Only a corrupt politician would so easily throw out such a waterproof case as that of Green, Sandoval, and Walker. But it's good to see that Jake didn't die in his accident. Frannie, Laura, and Skip made excellent company for him. I wonder if Hayley also visited him in the hospital.

Lyle sounds like one good cop, too. It's plain that he's family to Jake as well as Jake's father's partner. Good to see that Jake is getting a little closer to his parents' killer, also.

This is my favorite chapter in this story. Jake, Frannie, Laura, and Skip are quite clearly made for each other. It certainly is true; people often form the strongest bonds when they share pain together, and Jake, Laura, and Skip have all suffered due to selfish, vile criminals. They also bond well over their shared love of baseball and the ocean. That's one cute dog Jake owns, too. And the love scene between Jake and Laura was a very sensuous scene. This is getting better and better.

Talk about abusive language! Those punks really are walking on the wild side. This story gets more interesting with every chapter. Keep it up!

Nice to see that identical twins serve the JBPD. And Hayley McCoy is one cute, sexy young lady. I wonder who'll be Jake's love interest, her or Laura.

Quite a suspenseful situation. It seemed like Green really was going to kill Laura, but Jake knew how to disillusion him. And it's interesting to see that his backup would give in so easily, in contrast with Jake's determination. Let's hope she and Skip will be all right.

Jake's already popular at the police station. And he gets to ride a police motorcycle, too! He sure is one cool cop already! And his father is a legend at the Jackson Beach Police Department. I want to learn more about him!

Poor Jake Ryan! Here's hoping he can make a good cop when he grows up! And I wonder what those guys shown just before his parents' murder were up to.
