Here's a plot bunny for you, which this tale of yours inspired...

An AU version of the Council of Elrond in Fellowship of the Ring.

In which Tauriel and Kili - who by this point have been ecstatically married (like being 'happily married' only far moreso) for over fifty years, and have children - participate in the Council... and they end up joining the Fellowship, instead of Legolas and Gimli?

What sort of mayhem might this husband-and-wife dream team unleash?

And will any of the rest of the Fellowship get any sleep when they lie up for the night during the long trek across Middle Earth! :)

I had to read "Heat" first, and believe me, I would've reviewed that one too if I hadn't been so eager to read this one. I LOVED them both, you're a good writer and I love your plots, they're -needless to say- so amazingly hot. Seriously, you should give a warning or something saying "Do not read in public" or something of that sort.
Anyhow, great story! I'll follow you so I can stalk your stories properly! PS; I don't regret that sounded creepy.
