It was fun seeing the usual stoic Naru wanting to pull his hair out. The writing is direct and simple but I like how you added some small remarks inside parentheses -it gives variation.

Is the line-by-line narration even when some lines can be clumped together in one single paragraph deliberate? But anyway, I think it is for the quick pacing of your story?

I just feel like there isn't enough buildup or climax before Naru popped the question. Or maybe that's because of the pace of the story itself.

But I enjoyed reading this!
