I spent the entire time I was reading this laughing. The situation is simultaneously ridiculous, serious and plausible while the dialogue feels so very in character. (Laughs) Honestly, I really like fic.

I just wanted to say that you're writing is hilarious and well done. I don't know who the guest reviewer is (I like to read some of the reviews before I read the fix itself), but the review just before mine is utter nonsense. Not only is it incredibly rude, but it's untrue.

THE NAME CORDELIA. CAGAN. THE TITLE. AHHHHHH. You clever little bug. I loved Arthur's obliviousness and how Cagan and Cordelia treated Merlin with an embarrassing amount of respect.

I laughed...well, the majority of the time I was reading this, actually. I mean... a trained, pet, fishing seal. Where does he get this stuff? Arthur's clearly just too used to the entire fanfare in general. Not surprising, really, spending that much time with Merlin must simply desensitize you.

HA! This is just great! You have perfectly captured the zany aspect of the Merlin/Arthur dynamic with Merlin's excuses and Arthur's reactions. Loving Cordelia in this as well, both angry seal and incredulous woman :D Kudos!
