I like it, but you're all over the place. Brackets are everywhere and it just get boring to read. Also, Spock has never called Jim 'Kirk'. He has called him Cadet Kirk, Captain, Commander and Jim, but I don't remember him ever calling him Kirk.
I'm just saying as some helpful advise. I do like the story.

This story is wonderful. I am so glad I read it. It is written beautifully. The final scene was soul searing. I am in love.
