Good story, and nice knowledge on the auora borealis. But borealis actually comes from Boreas, the greek/roman god of the north wind. Generally, two different mythologies won't be put into one term. But I do like how you tied norse mythology into it.

This whole passage is breathtaking. Your narrative is poetic and captivating, and imagery magical. I usually don't read AUs but you managed to keep the characters true to form and enriched it so much with historical background that I couldn't help but love this. Thank you for the great read.
