Really? There’s no way the Akatsuki are strategically shoddy enough to attack at this event for only the Sanbi. Extreme risk and minimal reward, not to mention an ambush of Yagura leaving the event would be much more tactically sound

The choice and consequence aspect of this story is excellent. Naruto likes to fight peeps he has no business fighting, hello crippling injury. He likes to bang, bring on the babies. He likes to play Jesus, well here is your cross homie. If you're interested in reading this story don't skim because weighty crap happens in almost every chapter.

I'm honestly glad you made the last chapeters so short. Honestly I don't think the story benefited from the different deaths in it as it could have as they weren't that big of characters. I admit, I almost quit at the next to next to last chapter, but I'm glad I read until the end. It was a good story.
