Reviews for Bard and His Lia
Guest chapter 1 . 11/23/2019
Absolutely beautifully writen. I couldn't stop once I started. You have a gift.
Persephy chapter 1 . 1/2/2018
Only two stories? You should write more. You definetly have the talent for it. You can put any new character into a given universe: and it’s believable. I never saw Bard as shy, but you made it work, and I applaud you again.
KaraAlissa chapter 1 . 7/18/2016
This is easily one of the best Bard stories on the site. The writing is beautiful and detailed. Have you ever considered writing the story from Lia's perspective?
Guest chapter 1 . 9/6/2015
Oh my god this is such a wonderfully written and incredibly heart warming story.i found it almost last month and I must have read it thirty a butterfly inducing love story, you can feel each and every emotion written and sympathize and be swept away in the land of not so forbidden but happily ever after please write a sequel or a one shot because your talent and superb story cant be finished be discouraged be the few reviews, its the fact that bards fandom is growing slowly but surely if we have such good stories like yours,he will be known in no time.
LookAliveSunshine03 chapter 1 . 5/26/2015
This story was such a joy to read! You captured Bard's personality beautifully, and Lia is a very strong original character. It is proof you do not need Bilbo, or the Dwarves or Smaug for a brilliant Hobbit fanfiction. :)
Phoenix chapter 1 . 1/7/2015
Oh my gosh that was so great! My feels are very pleased. You kept Bard wonderfully in character while crafting a unique and compelling story. Bravo.
Guest chapter 1 . 1/1/2015
Ok. Seriously. Wow. Wonderfully well-written. Amazingly easy to get completely lost in. Bravo. :)
Anonim chapter 1 . 11/23/2014
There is -zero- justification for this not having more reviews or favorites. This was perfect. I am so mad there isn't more to read. I found this story two weeks ago, and there is not a day (not one) that goes by without my rereading it. This was so well done that it just keeps pulling me back in. You should be proud of this. Sincerely, you should be. You have a real talent for making people's thoughts and feelings come through in their actions and have it not be heavy-handed.
Drknite24 chapter 1 . 2/13/2014
I'm so glad that I found this story and thank you for sharing with us. Its so sweet to read this two and thank goodness Bard came to his senses at the end!
iluvobiwan91 chapter 1 . 2/10/2014
Well. Done. Wow, that was literally everything I've been looking for in a Bard fiction, and you wrote it beautifully. Thank you for such a lovely and satisfying story. Only thing I would add is that you could separate your chapters into the chapter pages they provide to make it easier to read than having to scroll so much. :)
Rianiel chapter 1 . 2/6/2014
Why does this not have more reviews?! What a gorgeous and heart-wrenching story this was. It was a joy to read. There have been few stories which have drawn me in and made me empathise for the characters. The part where you wrote "Go home old man, go back to bed and have a crust of bread and water" struck me quite powerfully. Your writing is strong too, and you have a great talent. I hope you will write more about the Bargeman!
Just4Me chapter 1 . 2/5/2014
Wow. If I could write as beautifully as you do, I would be able to tell you just how much I loved your story. It was touching, and sweet, and completely unexpected. You really brought your characters to life, and made me care about them. I hope you plan to write many more stories.
SinisterConcussion chapter 1 . 2/5/2014
I've been reading this off and on for the past day whenever I had a break in between jobs and errands. Can I just say, this is one of the greatest stories I've ever read? So much emotion, and so many Bard feels! I swear my heart broke at the beginning of chapter 4 when he discovered the footprints! You captured a side of Luke Evans' Bard that not many stories seem to do. He is selfless and self-deprecating to a fault, and aggravatingly so. This was wonderfully torturous to read and I'm sitting here in tears, knowing I have to get up for work in 15 minutes. This will be on my mind all day. Thank you for such a beautiful story. I hope to see more from you soon, especially regarding our favorite Bargeman!
