This was a story I didn't know I needed..but did. I'm not nearly as eloquent as you are, but I hope you know how much I love this story- that you shed light on an unseen, unexplored side of the Dark World movie, and that you conveyed Thor and Jane's relationship (as well as Jane's character) so perfectly. Thank you for sharing your story.

Wow... so sad. Thor was all high and mighty at the end of the first Thor movie about not exterminating a whole race, but you bring up a very good point about that happening in Thor 2.

"You can't kill an entire race," Thor had said to Loki. It doesn't matter if that race is 'Monsters' or not. You might just not understand it. Or maybe they are monsters, but it is everyone's right at a chance to live.

Wow, this one-shot really made me realize that not all dark elves deserved death. They weren't all monsters. I mean, those who totally deserved it was only Malekith and Kurk right? If the others survived after Malekith's fall, can't they be freed to live their lives? It truly IS genocide. A beautiful story, enlightening too, great job! ;)

I forgot that Malekith and his crew were the last of the Dark Elves. Now I kind of feel bad that Thor won.

The elf have it funny moment learning a few word refuse darcy food cuz " darcy food is .. Shit" lol
Touching moment when she/he told jane her name before she die. And thor told her of rumor that elf dont give their name anyone only to fellow warrior.

This is great stuff, especially to counterbalance the big blanks that (as a typical action film) TDW leaves.

Oh, that was... depressing. I wonder why Thor didn't have a stronger reaction when Jane told him they can't just kill an entire species - wasn't it more or less the same as what Thor told Loki a few years ago?
Yup, I'm sure this could go a cute way. I like this version too, very much, but I really wouldn't mind reading the fluffy version. Actually, there should be more fics exploring the Dark Elves, as we don't know much about them (the movie version at least), there would be so much room for interpretations... I think it IS pretty plausible that some might have survived somewhere so it could go from there.
Also, exploring Jane's feelings after TDW could be pretty interesting once she realized what she did here - that she helped commit a genocide.

hmm considering they tried to end the universe... yeah no reason to slaughter the entire race. but no reason to let hem walk freee ither you know? some osrt of jail/relocation center or something.

Wonderful and yes I think this is how Jane would react to the extinction of a species even to save the universe/multiverse!
