Funny, wasn't young Haymitch supossed to be very good looking?

Wow. Whew indeed. What an amazing story. So well constructed and thorough. The character development of Haymitch was really great, hard to do with an anti-hero of sorts. The small ups and downs he thinks he can pull off and pull over the Peacemakers and the Capitol are a whirlwind of letdowns. You know how to heart wrench! Overall, such a nice story to scratch the itch. Please keep writing!

“Chewing on all the things I want to say to her...” you master Hay’s anger so well. Mixed with his frustration and fright. So complex and nuanced.

“Then we just stay like that. All jokes out.” Brilliant way to show the complex father/son relationship that is distant and desperate. What a great chapter!
