Dean was so earnest in his efforts to help Sammy get over Jessica. I always think it was especially tragic that Sam's beloved brother only saw Jess in passing.

Awesome fic, really believable and you got Dean's guilt perfectly, it wasn't an easy decision for him to drug Sammy but he was desperate for his brother. Of course Sam would feel betrayed when he realised Dean had drugged him but if the boot was on the other foot Sam would have done the same.
So glad to see you posting, loved this.
