I reread this during my vacation and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the body of work (and the smut phase). You really got into these characters and your insight was fantastic. Dani's backstory, Charlie's prison tattoos were both fascinating for me to absorb. Thanks for this terrific and meaty story. I've missed LIFE so much.

Strong Woman Dani Reese... doesn't have the same ring as Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, but the result is the same!

Oh, wow! I'm so happy you updated, and with two awesome chapters! LOVE your Dani, and Charlie. Dani is awesome in this chapter, so wonderfully stubborn and independent. I like that she left Charlie and realized yeah, it would be nice to sleep through the night with him. Although she wouldn't admit it to him, hee. And Charlie greeting her in the morning, standing on her doorstep and singing into the phone, lmao. I love the little clothing details you mention, like her tank top, no bra and him taking off his belt. They just work so well together and I'm happy to see them happy together, in their own way (Reese grumbling the whole time hehe.)

This could end here and I'd be very satisfied, but if it keeps going I will, as always, be looking forward to more.

oooohy f*** yeah, love it. to leave him in the night or morning just for the sake of it is so dani, so stubborn, that's very much in character for her. and the whole way you let them interact with each other is also completely authentic in character. i love it, and of course this brain freeze thing - is so adorable and hot. and the way this chapter end gives me a f***ing big smile and a little crave inside my belly for more :). you write delicioulsy well. e.g. stuff like "He chased her eyes to see.. " is so phenomenal! thanks so much, i veerry much appreciate everything that's coming from you. and i hope for alot more. :) take care!

this made my day! thanks so much fpr updating, i had a blast reading it: how he looks back on their interactions and the way she lets her body and tongue speak. the words aren't important to him, he just takes in the big picture with its little facetts. i also love your dialogues, but this was also great! Yay you're back! And just as awesome as ever. I loved this - I'm kind of glad Dani stood her ground, but that Charlie understands her enough to know why. How cute was that note? He's bringing out her inner romantic :)

I just finished the series, and I must say that I think this is one of the best shows I've watched. Damian Lewis certainly helped, but I think the way the last season two ended was great.
And I like this so far too! Just the first chapter but I like it! Now...48 more to go! XD

Really, really enjoying this story - Dani is very forgiving about him leaving that morning without a word [your description of her picking up pieces of her broken lamp and the shame creeping back in was really powerful - I don't think I have forgiven him for making her feel like that!]. But what do I know it's later that same day and she certainly seems to have gotten over it!

Oh my god, oh wow, this is.. i have no words anymore, I'm so turned on :). no, it's just brilliantly romantic and at the same time so much breakable that it's authentic enought an not cheesy at all in my eyes. I just f***ing love it. his thinking, their little lies, how cautious they treat eachother and their relationship... it's so wonderful how you write that. please feel huugely complimented, if i haven't done that right now. :) and be aware that i definitely can't get enough of this, so please please continue, i'd love that. and i see alot for them coming. so thanks for every word and everythinh, you made my day (again).

awesome! what a beautiful introperspective. yeah, she definitely has a few more demons. and i'm stoked to see how they deal with it together. wonderful, i really missed to read this story, but i was short and shorter on time.

Wow! Really love these two chapters. There's still so much chemistry between them, but now it has an extra layer of meaning. I particularly appreciate (and think it is in character) for Charlie to ask Dani something outrageous like "Do you want me to sing for you?" then of course respects her rejection. I could see him joining her or not, but I actually like that, here, he didn't, because Dani would need time alone to regroup. She does seem 'all in' at the end of this chapter, which works for me at this point, she's just understandably wanting to keep things between them private.

And Charlie, oh Charlie. His inner monologue was a treat, I could imagine him struggling not to ask "Is this a hug? Are we hugging?" One of the reasons I love C/R so much is the humor in their interactions, so I get a kick out of their funny moments in this. As always, I'm looking forward to more!
