Why was this posted if it was abandoned? The whole story should be removed if it's never going to progress.

I would love if you continued this story, I was sucked right into those first two chapters and would be delighted to read more!

I know how I'd like to see this come out, but that isn't why I read a story, is it? I hope not, anyway. If you know how you want it to go,, why start and stop? If you don' have a clue, why start at all? I think you do have a clue, you write too well not to. So where does this leave us? I'm not about to cobble up someone else's idea.

Why would you bother putting this up if the story is abandoned? I HATE authors who abandon stories but can't be bothered to remove them. I am positively sure that I am not the only one that wishes all abandoned stories were removed. There's no point to them being here.

It'll be really ironic if Malfoy arranges Sirius Black to be freed, because he wants to smear Dumbledore's reputation.

"Dismay"? Dumbledore was showing "dismay"? Ooh, I like where this is going. Could be a case of EvilDumbledore or PawnNoLongerUseful or RescuePawnAtMostAdvantageousTime(Later). Because the dismay leads me to believe he is having a moment of "defending himself!? He's not supposed to do that! Or even be CAPABLE of doing that!".

Ohh! This gave me chills! I love intelligent slitherclaw Harry! I hope you do decide to continue this, even if it's not a true epic but a mini one that explores Harry using his smarts and outwitting those in power, or even just leaving like he threatened and having a much better and more rounded and free life.
Anyway, this was well written and interesting and I personally am looking forward to more if you find the inspiration. I am adding this to my faves and saving it to my must watch list!
