He became softer, more sympathetic, and realized that peace might just be more important than having your name remembered as a war hero. Briseis had a huge impact on Achilles and may have been the most important factor in his change. Before he died in Troy, he told her, "You gave me peace, in a lifetime of war."

What if Briseis had the chance to choose - Troy or Achilles? This is an AU to what happened in Troy where Patroclus was caught before Hector could kill him.
