I'm a college freshman. I had a distinguished portfolio and I'm thinking about going into a career in proofreading or some related task. I'm a nice person- I will tell you what you've done wrong (if anything), but I'll try to stay polite. I'll leave some comments, suggestions, and the like at the end of the passage. I don't want anyone who'll get angry about my beta-ing. Like I said, I'm nice, so I won't say something to hurt your feelings on purpose.

I'm good at grammar and spelling. I am an excellent speller and I can almost always tell the difference between a mistake, an intentional mistake, slang, and the different spellings associated with different countries. (jail/gaol, color/colour) I'm also pretty good at keeping facts straight.

I sometimes have trouble with punctuation. I'm constantly throwing in extra commas.

I prefer slash. I mean, I don't mind het, but I just do better with slash.

I don't like Mary Sues or Gary Stus. If you have one that you need help with, so that you can make them less perfect, then I'll help. Other than that, no.

I refuse to do any stories that bash any form of religion, sexuality, style, or anything else.
