I do not victimize authors of any kind. However, if the story you submit to me needs a lot of work, I will tell you so. I do not want any of my comments to be construed as spiteful, vindictive, or malicious. We are all here to grow as writers, and sometimes honest criticism is needed to do /

When I receive a request, I expect the author to have already made an effort to proofread for misspellings and other mechanical errors. I will refuse stories that are not coherent and show no conscious effort on the part of the writer.

I am a poet who has had experience with publication, and therefore place a lot of emphasis on the rhythmic aspects of a story. Grammatical errors are only half the work for me, I will also point out ways to rephrase sentences that I find awkward or cliche. br /

I strongly prefer oneshot betareading, and pay special attention to prose, grammar, and the overall flow of a given story. I also encourage originality in all the stories I review, and may provide some advice to nudge writers in a more original and innovative /

Lastly, I like to reference the traditional story chart (setting, rising action, climax, falling action) for all multi-chapter stories, though it is not a format I will impose.

I have a hard time making corrections on extremely sexual stories. Mainly, it is because I have never written one myself and have difficulty editing the language.

I am content to beta for all listed genres and will approach any submission with an open mind.

I will not betaread for any yaio/yuri fanfiction. It's not because I have ideological differences, it's just not my thing. Self-insertion stories are also a no-go.
