I've been writing various things for nearly 20 years and I'm fairly open to read/edit anything within my fandoms. I mostly read/write within the Harry Potter and Inuyasha fandoms, but if you send me a message asking if I'm open to editing anything else, I'd consider it for sure. I read quickly, and a lot. On average I'll go through 500k words daily. If I'm actively editing the things that I read, I can usually manage 200k/day.

Grammar, spelling, metaphor, and imagery are my best areas when writing. I adore the written word and the way it can be manipulated into decadence.

I'm not experienced in any language other than English. While I can clean up a previously translated script, the initial translation is beyond me. I also struggle heavily with subjective POV in writing. I'm not good with the "I" point of view stories. Maybe it's biased, but I much prefer the complexity that comes with an omniscient POV in stories. Also, and it pains me to admit this, I tend to over-suggest sometimes. Some authors might take offense at this, and I am apologetic for that. To clarify; I like to insert notations on things like word choice and sentence structure- that, alongside the usual grammatical and fluency editing.

If I absolutely had to draw a line of preference, I'd say that I prefer plot-heavy stories over parody/crack fics. Not that I wouldn't edit the 'wtf am I reading' intentionally-insane-humor fics, but I do much rather the more coherent fics.

Honestly, I'd give pretty well anything a shot. If I cannot or will not be able to continue, it's only a matter of finishing up what I've already promised and then declining further work on the project.
