I am a very relaxed beta-reader and I want to help you polish your work. I try to avoid suggesting edits that will change your writing style and try to respect different takes and ideas on characters and story lines.

I am not willing to edit a completely raw chapter and expect chapters to have at least been spell-checked and given a once over for obvious mistakes. If you send me something in textspeak I'm just going to ignore you.

I can generally read between 3000-5000 words per week, although I can do more if the occasional large chapter warrants it.

My main strength is my vocabulary and my hatred of purple prose. I do a great job of trimming out-of-control descriptions that weigh down a story. I'm also a great fountain of useless, trivial, canon details.

I have a tendency to abuse commas and occasionally recommend putting one where it has no business being. I also can't spell worth a damn and rely on my dictionary a lot so I don't catch some spelling errors. I'm quite anal about avoiding going directly against canon information.

I prefer action and adventure based stories. Drama and romance are fine as well, but I prefer realistic ones over fluff and nonsense.

I don't read mpreg, high school AUs, most Mary-Sueish OCs, self-inserts or hurt/comfort stories.
