I've been a beta reader for a quiet a few authors. I love to read and I have a fetish for grammar. I don't have any expectations of the people that I beta except that y0u d0nT tYpE lIkE dIs. That is my only request and I'm sure that I won't have that problem on this site seeing as I have been a member since 2005 and have not seen a single story written in type like that of above.

I'm not going to boast. My only real strength in beta reading is that I don't try and change the authors story, I just tie the parts together, if they need help, and as stated above, I have a fetish for grammar. I will see a story to it's end, no matter how long it may take.

My weakness would have to be that I don't catch every grammar mistake, even though I'd like to. I can go over the chapter multiple times and will not catch one or two mistakes even though I have fixed multiple other ones.

I like drama and adventure and romance stories. I love to read Ghost Whisperer stories, Harry Potter, C.S.I (All 3 of them), Law & Order (All of those as well), The Fast & The Furious, and many other stories. I will beta pretty much any story out there seeing as I don't have to know everything about the show or movie or book to make sure there that the story is grammatically correct.

I prefer not to beta slash stories, but I will beta them if I'm asked to.
