Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I tend to take both the grammatical and plot sides of a story into account when I beta. Grammar, though, happens to be what I look at most. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
As aforementioned grammar is a strength, but no one is perfect. I have a beta reader for one of my stories simply because it is hard for me to critique my own work. I also tend to spot continuity errors very well, and also factual errors. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weakness is probably alternate spellings. In this day and age, many different variations of words have entered into the English language. Most of the time, I might pick the wrong one. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer a story with romance and another genre besides horror, thriller, and western. I find it easier to read stories with romance in it, and therefore it is easier to edit. However, I do like action/adventure as well. Also Humor. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
As I said in the preferred section, I do not like horror, thriller, or western stories. Just don't get me started there. I don't even know why they have a section for western... |
