I'm the kind of reader that likes reading no-nonsense fanfics. Fanfiction that has a goal in mind and accomplishes that goal is always the bottom line for me. Beyond that however, I will gladly help out with grammar, punctuation, and rewording. I like to read stories on a chapter-by-chapter basis, unless it's a oneshot of course. I generally read through any piece of writing (or individual chapter) twice, once to get introduced to the piece, then again to absorb any minutia and detail, and then, in betareading, to look at wording, vocabulary, and flow in order to provide criticism.

I have a wide vocabulary and am rather eloquent in my wording and as such, am able to make good suggestions on rewording, spelling, grammar, and convention usage. I am also a careful reader and retain information for a very long time when it is in the written form. In writing, I implement these abilities to the greatest effect possible.

In reading, I feel I have no significant weaknesses other than I can get too involved in a book sometimes and miss subtext. Also, I have a difficult time creating long-standing connections over the course of a book in reading and in writing. In writing, creating complex connections between subtext is naturally difficult me.

I like stories with adventure and a certain amount of uncertainty and mystery best, but almost any type of story can hold my attention like superglue if it is written well enough, and I'd be willing to read anything so long as it does not fall under the umbrella of what is described in my "Not My Cup Of Tea" section. Stories of length are always preferred over shorter ones.

Any romance stories or lemon/lime kind of stuff is definitely not for me. No angsty/tragedy stories, either. Also, don't waste my time with a oneshot that is 750 words or less. Usually if it is around 750 words or less it's poetry or a song, and that is not something I consider myself able to evaluate well. If it is not poetry or a song, then there is usually not enough development to justify calling it an acceptable, finished story in my opinion. Also, if your story is made up of 750 word or less chapters, I find that I would rather not bother reading what feels (95% of the time), in my opinion, to be a rushed story.
