Hey, my name's Colin, and I'm a beta reader/editor. Judging from the fact that my username is ColinCeption, and that you're looking at my beta profile right now, those may seem like obvious facts. But hey, I have to introduce myself somehow. Anywho, let me tell you about how I work. First off, you can communicate with me via email (which is in the description of my main profile) or using private messaging. If your story is associated with something I didn't put in my preference list, nor did I put it in my dislikes list, feel free to ask me if I'm up for it. Theres a chance I just forgot to put that category on my list. It could also work the other way around, where you submit a story involved with a category I've put on my preference list, but I wouldn't be able to work with it since Im not affiliated with the parts your story's associated with (Example: you submitting a story taking place around Batman: Arkham Knight, but I've only played Arkham Asylum and Arkham City). Anyways, on to the actual process. For formatting, i'll take your story either through DocX, or we can share a Google Docs. Whichever you'd prefer is fine with me, and if you'd rather do it another way, we can see if that can be worked out. While I'm looking over the story itself, feel free to ask me any questions. Also, I might be doing the same to you, as well as throwing in bits of criticism. However, Id say I'm more of an editor than a beta reader. I mostly check for grammatical errors, and other minor things like that. I'm not really sure what else to include on here, so feel free to ask any questions you may still have. 1. For some reason, I usually never give a story a 10/10. Or anything for that matter. I have no idea why I do this. 2. When you send me a story based off a game or movie or book that I haven't played/seen/read in a while, and my memory is hazy, I would probably have to go back and play/see/read it all over again before I could look at your story. So, that's a little bit of some wasted time on your end.

Granted, while I am perfectly fine with most genres, I really like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Humor, and Parody.

No romance, smut, or angst. Thank you. Also, while its not impossible, OC's are harder for me to get into.
