I don't know how to describe myself as anything, much less a beta reader. I read all the time, so to be able to help somebody out, whether it be for grammer or keeping characters in...well, character, would just be my ultimate goal. Personally, when proofreading someone elses work, I look to make sure grammer is right and puncuations and paragraphs are positioned and or seperated correctly. When I then look to the characters(whether original or from a series), I do plenty of research on the type of person they are or who the character is and try to figure out how they would react to a given situation.

Overall, I think anyone looking for my help should have at least the semblance of a story. I've seen random style stuff that made no sense because it was just trying to make a point. While this can work sometimes, it is not something that I feel comfortable proofreading.

My strength is in grammer. Walking dictionary. I also have a large working knowledge of most forms of time travel/reality shifting and am a quick wit to boot.

Personally, I'm pretty weak on time. Whether it's measuring the passage of it or getting back to someone within a reasonable amount of it, time and me just don't agree. As long as you're okay with a little bit of a wait, we shouldn't see many problems.

I prefer to read adventures and horrors. I just have a much easier time picking up the nuances in such stories.

There's not much of anything I won't read, but I'd prefer to stay away, far away(Shakes ten foot pole) from drama(day time drama, not teenage angst stories. I like some of the angst ones). I'm better at going over romance and shipping stories than I used to be. I don't keep religiously to any particular pairing and generally keep an open eye on pairings, though there are a few I have trouble touching. I usually glaze over sex scenes, though, so I might miss any problems in it unless it's a necessary part of the plot.
