I am a person who is highly focused when it comes to detail - I am a sharp reader and notice many things others would most probably surpass. I am grammatically inclined, and know the placing and rules of grammar (e.g. usage of words, punctuations, etc.).

For my betareading styles, I usually go through the piece once over, and another time, to check any forms of error. I am not a person who will stall and linger on things just so that the writer will feel good about him/herself. I am direct and will straight out tell you what mistakes I have noticed, but, of course, not in a sense that I will discourage the writer, but only to point out what I feel should be improved.

I am a stickler for detail. I am also quite partial to usage of rare and wide vocabulary. I feel that I have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to grammar, composition and spelling.

Many things may not come out as pleasant as they should - the aspiration to get straight to the point makes my statements colder than I mean them to.

I would prefer to betaread stories with interesting fanfiction plots. Things such as cliches, which are extremely predictable, make the reader lose interest.

I am not a fan of people who use chat/text formats. If people want to write, they should respect the PROPER way of writing. Writing in chat/text form insults the mechanics of writing. Pieces written in such a manner cannot actually be called "writing", as they are extremely difficult to understand, and, also, they are usually very vague and almost pointless, as it seems as though the writer has not exactly given the work much thought. Yet, of course, there is an exception to every rule: There ARE some things written in these formats that are quite enjoyable, so long as they make sense and keep the reader locked in its grasp.
