As a beta, I am very thorough, reading more than once. I keep grammar, spelling, and punctuation in line and am good at giving advice for different writing styles. I am open to all offers, but I cannot stand chat speak. If you ask for me to beta a "chat-speak" story, it will be completely changed. I believe fanfcition.net is a place to improve your writing and to attempt to make a story that is enjoyable to the general public.

Grammar, punctuation, and spelling are my strongest areas of work, as I believe they should be. Stories are going to be more likely read if they have good grammar, spelling, and punctuation, even if the storyline itself could use work. I am also good at helping with writer's block. It kind of comes with having a mom as a writer.

I tend to be overcritical sometimes. I have been called mean. But I do not try to be mean and put down your story. I want it to be the best it can. I also have no filter. If I think it should be fixed or worked on, I will tell you. Immediately.

I don't dislike any story. But I would like to work with canon relationships if at all possible. Although I have found a couple of good non-canon fanfictions so I am not adverse to working on those kinds of stories.

Lol-speak and chat-speak are the banes of my existence. But I will work on these stories and try to help in the best way I can. If you do send me a story in chat-speak, I ask that you be open to my suggestions. You don't have to use them, but I would appreciate being listened to.
