I enjoy writing, and as a prerequisite of that, I also enjoy reading. I, at any given time, am reading two to three books at a time. Misspelled words are a killer for me. I am fairly harsh when I edit something, but it isn't meant to be insulting. I give suggestions on how things can be worded better, and such.

Spelling and grammar are tops. I tend to read and correct things several times before I am satisified. I am also good at ensuring continuity. Keeping characters in canon is also something I try to excel at, and researching information about each character is something that I see as necessary.

I tend to take some time reading a piece, as I go over it several times. I sometimes give suggestions on how *I* would write a passage, as opposed to the author. I do, however realize that I am not always right.

I prefer to read romance stories, and will take the occasional angsty dramas. I love comedies, as well.

I tend to shy away from true action stories, as I don't really have a good grasp of action sequences (i.e. fight scenes, chases, things blowing up). Impossible stories (i.e. mpreg) and morally disturbing stories (i.e. sexual assault) are not anything I want a part of.
